Dear Portland Chapter Members and Industry Friends,
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) donations are urgently needed for the COVID-19 Response. Please consider donating your surplus PPE if you are able.
With local doctors, nurses and other medical staff facing dire shortages of equipment to protect them from the spread of coronavirus as they work, your donations are critical and will make a difference. Without this gear, hospitals and clinics may need to shut down, and first responders will be limited in their abilities to help.
Below is the full list of items that the The State of Oregon, Multnomah County and Portland Fire & Rescue are asking for:
- latex-free gloves
- procedural masks
- surgical masks
- N95 respirators and N95 filters
- Other respirators (P100’s, PAPR’s, and PAPR supplies / parts)
- face shields
- splash shields
- gowns
- hand sanitizer
- disinfecting wipes
Officials urge that donations be made to the approved sites listed below, rather than medical locations, which are trying to limit contamination risk.
