IN APRIL Kevin McWhirter, our Dale Carnegie Associate Member presented another interesting topic about WHY price isn’t everything to potential customers. In fact, knowing your own WHY combined with learning your customer’s WHY will actually lead to an increase in company sales volume. THANK YOU again, Kevin, for another lively conversation. If you weren’t able to attend this meeting be sure to hit Kevin up for a recap at the next monthly meeting.

THE MAY Chapter Meeting at Hopworks Urban Brewery produced a very informative presentation by Dan Blue with MetroPaint and Steve Dearborn, CEO, Miller Paint Company. Their topic, “Learn About Oregon’s Paint Recycle Program” focused on the many environmental benefits of using recycled paint products. A MetroPaint factory tour was suggested in the future so that members can learn more about their product quality process. An overall rating of 8.1 for this program indicated enthusiastic involvement by attendees. THANK YOU METROPAINT AND MILLER PAINT!

IS IT JUNE ALREADY? As spring still drizzles into summer…we sure lucked out with the amazing summer weather the day we held the 2019 PDCA Golf Tournament! This year the board opted to change it up a bit and move this annual venue to the Persimmon Country Club Course in Gresham. Eighty golfers enjoyed the challenging hills and trees of this beautiful location under the watchful presence of our own magnificent Mt. Hood. YOUR FEEDBACK IS GREATLY APPRECIATED – your Chapter Board of Directors chooses the venue for this annual event a year in advance – we need your voice, THANK YOU for your participation.
